How you can use AI Literacy Weekly, what you can do with our lesson packs and the Teacher AI Toolkit, and how payment and cancellation work.

Last updated: 20 October 2026

These terms explain how you can use AI Literacy Weekly, what you can do with our lesson packs and the Teacher AI Toolkit, and how payment and cancellation work. We have tried to keep them short and plain. Please read them before you subscribe.

1. Who we are

AI Literacy Weekly (ailiteracyweekly.co.uk) is a trading name of Code Withakay Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14035872). Our registered office is Crown House, 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX.

You can contact us at [email protected].

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Code Withakay Ltd. "You" means the person or organisation using the service. A "school" includes a department, school or trust that buys a licence. If you buy an individual plan, we treat you as a consumer under these terms, even if you use it for your work as a teacher.

These terms apply to everything on the site: the free sample pack, the free toolkit directory, paid plans (Classroom Packs, Teacher AI Toolkit Pro and the Packs + Toolkit bundle) and department and school licences.

How we use personal data is explained in our privacy notice. It is a separate document and is not part of this contract, but please read it too.

2. Your account and logging in

Login links. We don't use passwords. To log in, you enter your email address and we send you a login link. Each link works once and expires after 15 minutes.

Keep your email secure. Anyone who can read your email can log in as you. Please:

Three devices at a time. You can be logged in on up to three devices at once. Logging in on a fourth logs out the device you logged in on longest ago. This stops accounts being shared, so please don't try to get round it.

One person per account. Your account is for you alone. Don't share your login with colleagues; a department or school licence gives each of them their own (see section 3).

3. What a membership covers

Individual memberships. A membership covers one teacher's own classes. To share the packs with colleagues, see our department and school licences.

You can use your membership in any school you teach in, including supply and cover work, as long as you are the one teaching.

Department and school licences. A licence covers the named staff who have a seat on it, for as long as the licence runs.

The number of seats, the price and the licence period are as shown on your quote or invoice.

Free sample and free toolkit. The free sample pack and free toolkit prompts are covered by these terms too, on the same basis as a membership.

4. Using the lesson packs

Our packs contain slides, lesson plans, worksheets, START-HERE sheets and teacher guides. While your membership or seat is active, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them as follows.

You may:

You may not:

Who owns what. Copyright and other rights in the packs and the site belong to Code Withakay Ltd. Adapting a pack doesn't change that. Some packs quote or refer to news reports and other third-party material. Those belong to their owners and are cited in the pack. Please keep the citations when you adapt a pack.

If you aren't sure whether something is allowed, email us and ask.

5. Present links

A present link lets you show a pack's slides on a classroom computer without logging in.

How we check links is explained in the privacy notice.

6. The Teacher AI Toolkit

The toolkit gives you prompts and guides to use with AI tools such as Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT and Claude.

7. When packs are released

We aim to publish a new lesson pack every Friday during term time, by 7am UK time, ready to teach the following week. Each pack has a release date and is not available before it.

We choose the topic each week based on the AI news. We can't promise particular topics, and occasionally a pack may be late or a week may be missed, for example because of illness or a technical problem. If that happens we will try to let members know by email.

8. Prices and founding member prices

Our current prices are on the pricing page. Prices are in pounds sterling. Any tax that applies is handled at checkout and shown on your receipt.

Founding member prices. If you subscribe to an individual plan by 31 January 2027, you keep the price you signed up at for as long as you stay subscribed. If you switch plan or billing period (for example from monthly to yearly, or from Classroom Packs to the bundle), you keep founding member status and pay the founding price of the new plan. If your subscription ends and you rejoin later, the price at the time you rejoin applies. Founding member prices don't apply to department or school licences.

Other price changes. We may change our prices. If we change the price of a subscription you already have, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies, so you can cancel first if you want to. Founding member prices don't change while you stay subscribed.

Promo codes are applied at checkout and follow any conditions shown with them.

9. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds

Individual plans

Payment. You pay through Stripe's secure checkout. We never see or store your full card details.

Individual plans are sold through Stripe Managed Payments, so Stripe (or its affiliate) is the seller and merchant of record for the payment, and handles tax. These terms cover your use of AI Literacy Weekly. To cancel or ask for a refund, email us and we'll arrange it with Stripe.

Renewal. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period, and we take payment for the next period, until you cancel.

Cancelling. You can cancel at any time:

When you cancel, your plan stops renewing. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We don't refund part periods, except where the law gives you a right to a refund (see below).

Your 14-day right to cancel (consumers). If you are a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel within 14 days of the day you subscribe, without giving a reason. Because our packs and prompts are digital content, if you asked for immediate access and agreed at checkout that you would lose the right to cancel, you lose this right once you start using your membership: downloading or viewing a pack, or copying a Pro prompt. We confirm that agreement by email after you subscribe. If you haven't started using your membership, you can still cancel within the 14 days: email [email protected] to cancel and we'll arrange a full refund. We will refund what you paid within 14 days of hearing from you, using the payment method you used.

If you didn't give this agreement at checkout (for example, you subscribed before 20 October 2026), your 14-day right is unaffected.

Your other rights. As a consumer, you also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If it isn't, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement or some or all of your money back. Nothing in these terms affects those rights. For more information, contact Citizens Advice.

Department and school licences

Licences are paid by invoice or purchase order. Invoices are due within 15 days. The price, number of seats and licence period are as set out on your quote or invoice. Licences renew automatically at the end of each licence period, and we invoice for the next period, unless the school tells us before the renewal date that it doesn't want to renew. Where your purchase order includes its own terms, these terms apply unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

Schools can ask us for a data processing agreement.

The free 30-day department trial gives the same access as a licence for 30 days. It ends automatically unless the school goes on to buy a licence.

The 14-day consumer right to cancel doesn't apply to schools, because they buy as organisations, not consumers.

10. Accuracy and suitability

We write each pack carefully. Facts are checked against primary sources, and every pack is reviewed and signed off by a person, including its safeguarding notes, before it is released.

But AI news changes fast. Something that was accurate on the release date may change soon after, and we can't promise every pack is free of errors. If you spot one, please tell us and we will correct it.

You know your pupils. You are responsible for:

Our packs and toolkit are teaching resources. They are not legal, technical, safeguarding or professional advice.

11. Changes to the service and to these terms

The service. We keep improving AI Literacy Weekly, so features, formats and the way packs are delivered may change. If a change materially reduces what members get, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email.

Availability. We try to keep the site running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may need to pause it for maintenance or to fix problems.

These terms. We may update these terms, for example when the law or our service changes. We will change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is significant and affects your membership or licence, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.

12. Our responsibility to you

What we never exclude. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:

If you are a consumer. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it is obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you subscribed. We are not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable. If digital content we supply damages a device or other digital content you own because we didn't use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you fair compensation.

If you are a school or are buying for a business. Subject to "What we never exclude":

13. Suspending or ending access

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by:

Where it's reasonable, we will contact you first and give you a chance to put things right. If we end your membership because you broke these terms, we don't have to refund you, but this doesn't affect your statutory rights.

If we end it without fault on your part, for example because we close the service, we will give you reasonable notice by email and refund any amount you have paid for a period you won't receive.

You can end it at any time by cancelling, as set out in section 9.

After access ends, you can no longer use paid features, download packs or use present links. Section 4 still applies to packs you have already downloaded.

14. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with any dispute.

If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you keep the protection of the consumer law where you live, and you can bring proceedings in your local courts.

15. Contact and complaints

If you have a question or a problem, email [email protected]. We will try to sort out any complaint as quickly as we can.

For questions about personal data, see our privacy notice, which also explains how to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Our registered office is Code Withakay Ltd, Crown House, 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX.
