AI literacy lessons for sixth form

Every pack has a full ages 16-18 version. It goes further into how the technology works, uses longer sources and asks students to argue a position as they would in an essay or a formal debate.

They work in enrichment, tutor time and PSHE, and as current examples in subjects such as Computer Science, Politics, Law, Business and Media Studies.

Questions

Is there a separate version for 16-18?

Yes. Every pack has a complete 16-18 version with its own slides, lesson plan, worksheet and teacher guide, not just extension tasks.

Which post-16 courses do the lessons link to?

Post-16 has no single programme of study, so each lesson plan lists links to common courses such as A level Computer Science, Politics, Law, Business and Media Studies. Check the wording against your exam board's specification.

Can students use these for the EPQ?

The stories make good starting points for research questions, and some teacher guides suggest an EPQ title.

Do students need AI accounts?

No. Nobody needs to log in to an AI tool, so the lessons work whatever your school's policy on AI accounts.
